Alunos pernambucanos os são únicos da America Latina no Software and Systems Quality Conference

Maior evento sobre software da Europa terá dois trabalhos elaborados com a colaboração dos professores do CIn Alexandre Vasconcelos e Sérgio Soares

Para orgulho dos pernambucanos, trabalhos elaborados com a participação do Centro de Informática (CIn) da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) representarão a America Latina na Software and Systems Quality Conference, uma das maiores conferências sobre qualidade de software do mundo. O encontro será entre os dias 27 a 29 de maio, no Congress Center Stadthalle Dusseldorf, na Alemanha.

Apenas dois projetos feitos por alunos e professores da Universidade de Pernambuco (UPE), Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE) e do Centro de Informática da UFPE foram selecionados os entre vários escritos para o evento.

Com o trabalho intitulado "Towards aspects of coverage to measure thoroughness of testing", o membro do colegiado da pós-graduação do CIn Sérgio Soares e a aluna da Universidade de Pernambuco Liana Silva, investigam o fluxo de dados e técnicas de cobertura.

“Agilizing your CMMI: Improving agile process through CMMI generic practices to support respond to changes” é o título do outro trabalho pernambucano, elaborado por Célio Santana, da UPE, com o apoio do professor do CIn Alexandre Vasconcelos.

We are pleased to inform you that your paper has been accepted to appear as a SHORT paper in the proceedings and for presentation at the conference. All papers went through a thorough review process and we selected the best for inclusion in the program.
Important dates:16 March 2009 - camera-ready paper ready (THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE. PAPERS NOT SUBMITTED ON TIME WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE PROCEEDINGS) 1 April 2009 - author registration deadline 26-30 May 2009 - conference dates
Before Springer will publish your paper in the proceedings, it is necessary for the author who will be presenting it to register for XP 2009 by 1 April 2009.

Camera-ready copies need to be submitted via email to the program co-chairs (pekka.abrahamsson@cs.helsinki.fi , frank.maurer@ucalgary.ca). When you prepare your final submission, please follow the author guidelines of the Springer Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-7-487211-0).

Short papers are allowed up to 6 pages.Experience reports are allowed up to 5 pages.

You will find the reviews of your paper below. Please use the comments from the reviewers to revise your paper and submit a final camera-ready version by March 16, 2009. You have to ensure that your paper is in the correct Springer Proceedings format. Reformatting after the deadline is NOT possible and incorrect formatting might exclude the paper from the proceedings.

We are planning your presentation for 27. Mai 2009. Please send us a short e-mail confirming your attendance. Your Speaker’s Agreement will follow via e-mail within the next few days. Additional information will also be distributed via e-mail to you.
For additional information we like to publish your abstract on our website.If a review is necessary in your opinion please send us the revised version until 6 February 2009. Otherwise we are assuming you agree on the publication.
